DB Developer

location: Skopje, Bitola, Ohrid

 

BtoBet, a leading technological solution and platform provider in the iGaming industry with a passion to deliver cutting-edge products, is looking for a qualified Database developer to design stable and reliable databases, according to our company’s needs. You will be responsible for developing, testing, improving and maintaining new and existing databases to help users retrieve data effectively.

 

As part of our team, you will work closely with developers to ensure system consistency. You will also collaborate with administrators and clients to provide technical support and identify new requirements. Communication and organization skills are keys for this position, along with a problem-solution attitude.

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support a high volume transactional online betting data platform;
• Develop solutions to complex business and technology problems;
• Analyze complex distributed production deployments, and make recommendations to optimize performance;
• Participate in code reviews and analysis for refactoring purposes;
• Proactively do performance tuning and optimizations to help improve database efficiency;
• Monitor and respond to service requests and deal with incidents escalations;
• Ensure the physical and logical security of all databases.

 

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Database developer;
• In-depth knowledge of database design and constructs;
• Advanced skills in performance tuning and optimizations;
• Extensive database programming experience in writing T-SQL Stored procedures, Functions, Triggers, Constraints and Indexes using various DDL and DML commands;
• Ability and knowledge to design, develop and implement automated solutions to extract data and transfer data/files to clients;
• Excellent analytical skills coupled with experience supporting production environments;
• An ability to understand business problems and articulate a corresponding solution;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
