Responsibilities

• Design and architect new solutions

• Motivate, grow and inspire the team technically

• Propose best development practices

• Write maintainable and clean code.

• Quickly identify bottlenecks and bugs, propose and implement the right solutions

• Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

• Work on all phases of the development lifecycle, including continuous integration, tests deployment, and refactoring.

• Provide demo versions to the management

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years working as a Ruby developer (Ruby/Ruby on Rails)

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Strong team player skills

• Highly motivated, curious and a lifetime learner

• Great understanding of the syntax of Ruby

• Great understanding of object-oriented programming

• Great understanding of functional programming style in Ruby

• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful

• Experience with Heroku

• Good understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes

• Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (GIT)

• Experience with continuous integration
