Radix Technologies is seeking for a motivated and experienced Senior Cloud Developer with a strong grasp of Java/JavaScript development skills, to join our team in Skopje, Macedonia. 
Requirements for the position Senior Cloud Developer: 
 
Skills/Responsibilities 
 
The job is a SW developer position to work on varies server application inside our network server solution. The solution comprises >10 different independent servers that each need further development and maintenance. This job position is to take over and maintain some of these servers as well as create new ones.  
 
You must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the following: 
 

• Java/Javascript/nodejs server application development  
• Redundancy and design for high availability,
• databases (PostgreSQL, Cassandra experiences a plus)
• Experience with different hosting environments, incl. experience with AWS, Azure, Bluemix and others.
• Performance benchmarking tools and general performance optimization 
• Server instrumentation for monitoring, development of safe upgrade, failover, replacement and elastic scaling procedures  
• English: full professional proficiency 

 
Good Java and Javascript development skills are a must. Work experience with the Cassandra database expected. As well experience with Linux OS, OpenStack or other virtualization platforms are expected. 
 
In terms of behavioral skills, the following qualities are required:   
 

• Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook
• Able to multitask on several parallel tasks
• Excellent Interpersonal skills, works well in a Team 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
