Role Designation: Software Developer
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Software Development based on .Net framework, PostgreSQL Server and MapServer for the GIS data to manage and develop an Information management system.
- Database administration and management
- Testing and dealing with security issues
- Technical support and maintenance
- Providing training and appropriate documentation
- Complete activities per the project plan and client’s requirements
Educational Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent
Key Skills and Knowledge
- Extensive experience of Microsoft .NET Framework, Bootstrap, Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), Map Server 7, PostgreSQL Server 9.6 with PostGIS extension, ASP.NET, Visual Studio 2017 for ASP.NET 4.6, Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 operating system
- Exemplary planning and time management skills
- Proficient in English
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, without day to day supervision, take initiative, and solve problems
- High degree of discretion and confidentiality
