SALESFORCE DEVELOPER/ADMINISTRATOR

Location: Skopje/ North Macedonia,

 

SOS Children’s Villages International https://www.sos-childrensvillages.org/ is the umbrella organization for over 130 SOS Children’s Villages associations worldwide. As a non-governmental social development organization, SOS Children’s Villages International helps children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions through services in care, education, health and emergency relief, and advocacy for children’s rights.

 

Purpose of the job

The Salesforce Administrator/Developer is responsible to contribute to the agile development of the Salesforce based applications of SOS Children’s Villages International together with the cross cultural and dispersed development team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the system meets the needs of the organization and its users by configuring and customizing Salesforce applications and portals to meet business requirements, managing integrations with other systems, creating and maintaining reports and dashboards, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high quality technical documentation.

The candidate should act as a product advisor, staying up to date on developments of the platform and advise on potential improvements. Additionally, the candidate will act as the 3rd line of support for any issues.

 

Key performance areas and main responsibilities

  • Configure and customize Salesforce to meet business requirements using Salesforce features and Apex code
  • Create and maintain custom objects, fields, workflows, visual force pages, and triggers
  • Keep the technical documentation of the project up to date
  • Manage and maintain integrations with other systems such as Data Warehouse, D365, and others
  • Develop custom applications and integrations within the Salesforce platform
  • Carry out testing and deployment procedures
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights to the business
  • Train and support service desk on how to use Salesforce effectively
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide 3rd line technical support to users
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and best practices
  • Participate in the planning and execution of Salesforce upgrades and new releases

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Salesforce administration and development
  • Salesforce Administrator and/or Developer certification(s) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform and its capabilities
  • Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and other Salesforce development tools
  • Knowledge of Salesforce integrations with other systems such as ShaprePoint, Azure AD, D365 finance systems, and others
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
