Assistant Controller

We are looking for a visionary CTO who will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our software development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset to guide our team in delivering high-quality software products. As the CTO, you will play a crucial role in shaping our technology roadmap, managing the development life cycle, building functional teams and an inspirative people environment, and ensuring the successful execution of our software projects.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1. Technical Leadership:

• Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership to the software development team, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives.

• Drive innovation, explore emerging technologies, and evaluate their potential for integration into our software products.

• Establish and maintain technical standards, best practices, and development methodologies to ensure high-quality software deliverables.

2. Technology Roadmap:

• Collaborate with executive leadership to define and implement the company's technology roadmap, aligning it with market trends and customer needs.

• Identify opportunities for product enhancements and recommend technical solutions to drive product innovation and differentiation.

• Conduct regular technology assessments and make recommendations for technology investments and partnerships.

3. Team Management:

• Lead and manage a team of software developers, architects, and technical specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting their professional growth and skills development.

• Establish performance metrics, conduct performance evaluations, and address any performance issues proactively.

4. Project Management:

• Oversee the software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to product release, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and quality assurance, to drive efficient and effective project execution.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

5. Technical Strategy:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive technical strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and supports its long-term growth plans.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

• Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and external resources to augment the company's technical capabilities.

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

• Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role in a software development company.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and best practices.

• Experience in leading and managing software development teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.

• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving business outcomes.

• Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools.

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and security standards related to software development is a plus.
