Logan Premium is looking for a Freight Broker to join our growing team. As a Freight Broker, you’ll be training under one of our Senior Freight Brokers for your first six months. This would include tracking, new carrier onboarding, and carrier operations. As you advance your sales skill set, you’ll move into an independent role, booking carriers to provide cost-effective logistics solutions for Logan Premium’s customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage carrier operations for a Senior Freight Broker; tracking, new carrier setups, and paperwork.
- Learn best practices for Carrier Sales, including booking, negotiation, tracking, issue resolution and relationship management.
- Utilize effective procurement techniques as well as carrier relationship development and management methods.
- Analyze carrier sales data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and sales, to ensure a cohesive and effective carrier sales strategy.
Requirements:
- Freight brokerage experience, or the strong desire to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
- Highly proficient in English, both verbal and written.
- Passionate about career growth and development.
In office five days a week.
Working hours are based on the United States Central timezone.
Holidays are based on the United States calendar.
