MOTIVI for its Danish clients (Vita Media Group) is looking for a highly skilled Email Developer & Operator

 

Profile: “Email Developer & Operator” (Backend Developer & SysOps - SMTP/postfix)

Primary Skils: Postfix, Smtp, Ubuntu, Docker, Java

Secondary Skils: AWS Services

 

Role:

• The developer/sysop will focus 100% on our Push Messaging Platform, primarily on our Email Server system.
• The role involves building systems and process (in Java and postfix/ubuntu) for handling all aspects of email server setup, maintenance and deliverability optimization.
• This ranges from automatic provisioning of Postfix MTA via Dockers files, automated processing and classification of email bounce/replies to ensuring optimal deliverability through continues analysis of email traffic, ISP whitelisting/handling etc.
• So a deep understanding of SMTP, Postfix and Email deliverability is very important, where Java development knowledge is required to participate in building the systems that can automate all routine tasks & support automated optimizations processes

 

Email Developer & Operator Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree (B. S.) in related field or equivalent education experience
• 2+ years hands-on email coding and production experience
• Fluency in HTML/CSS proficiency in responsive email design and must understand cross browser and front-end development issues
• Very high attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Strong organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills
• Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
• Ability to multitask complex projects independently
• Proven ability to meet deadlines with effectiveness, accuracy and efficiency

• VitaMediaLab Platform - A Data Driven Affiliate Marketing Platform with a backend in Java, frontends in Angular
• EkstraPoint - An iGaming loyalty platform where iGaming players can participate and play various games for free and win “EP Points”
• Affiliate Platform - A simple platform for allowing clients to access the marketing campaigns for VitaMediaLabs
• Push Messaging System - This system acts as a proxy between sending clients (VitaMediaLab Platform, EkstraPoint), and actual delivery endpoints
• HTML5 Games - The EkstraPoint platform relies on good quality and entertaining games. The Games will be built using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (Vanilla, JQuery, Create.js etc.) - and Java will be used for the backend services, including REST, for RNG, user, leaderboard
