MOTIVI for its Danish clients (Vita Media Group) is looking for a highly skilled UI Designer & Frontend Developer to combine programming, psychology and creative design to craft intuitive controls for their software and hardware. The UI developer’s mission is to create an interface that behaves as users would expect it to, facilitating a seamless and efficient user experience.

 

Profile: UI Designer & Frontend Developer

Primary Skills: UI / Graphical design, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript

Secondary Skills: UX Design, Angular, JQuery, creative.js

 

UI Designer Responsibilities:

• Having an eye for good aesthetic is very important in this role, so the web/graphical designer part of this role weighs the most.
• Several platforms are client facing, and there is a continuous need for new features that require new design, redesign of existing features as well as custom landing pages for marketing purposes.
• All of these require the creative production of new graphical elements, image compositions etc.
• This is especially relevant for the EkstraPoint platform & the HTML Games.
• The Role also covers the process of turning new sleek design into solid & clean html5/css3 code - and for the HTML5 Games this could also involve JavaScript development for the client side game logic (Creative.js, JQuery etc.).

 

UI Designer Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience as a front-end developer.
• 2+ years’ experience as a UI/UX designer.
• A portfolio that demonstrates both JavaScript proficiency and understanding of SOLID design principles (plugins, node packages, etc.).
• Expert knowledge of CSS, CSS extension languages (Less, Sass), and CSS preprocessor tools.
• Expert knowledge of HTML5 and its best practices.
• Proficiency in designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using {{ Sketch, InVision, Axure, etc. }}.
• A history of deconstructing user behavior to create an improved experience for users, showcased in the form of blog posts, articles, screencasts, etc.

 

Project & Platforms

• VitaMediaLab Platform - A Data Driven Affiliate Marketing Platform with a backend in Java, frontends in Angular
• EkstraPoint - An iGaming loyalty platform where iGaming players can participate and play various games for free and win “EP Points”
• Affiliate Platform - A simple platform for allowing clients to access the marketing campaigns for VitaMediaLabs
• Push Messaging System - This system acts as a proxy between sending clients (VitaMediaLab Platform, EkstraPoint), and actual delivery endpoints
• HTML5 Games - The EkstraPoint platform relies on good quality and entertaining games. The Games will be built using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (Vanilla, JQuery, Create.js etc.) - and Java will be used for the backend services, including REST, for RNG, user, leaderboard
