Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all waste management operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement waste reduction strategies to minimize the environmental impact of waste generation.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure efficient waste disposal and waste diversion programs.
• Monitor waste handling and disposal processes to ensure adherence to safety and environmental guidelines.
• Analyze waste data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of waste management activities and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Develop and manage budgets for waste management operations, ensuring cost-effective practices.
• Educate and train employees on proper waste handling procedures and sustainable practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to waste management and sustainability.

Key Requirements:

• University degree in Agronomy (Environmental Science), Waste Management, Biotechology or a related field.
• Proven experience in waste management, environmental services, or a related industry.
• In-depth knowledge of waste management processes, recycling programs, and sustainability practices.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to engage with staff, contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Advanced English
