As ONE Macedonia establishes and grows its local presence, we are looking for a seasoned Head of Product Development eager to be part of a transformative journey from the ground up.
This is a greenfield operation, with the ambition to build full operational capacity — offering a rare opportunity to shape a company's foundation and leave a lasting impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Strategy & Portfolio
- Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the organization's vision, business goals, market trends, and customer needs
- Oversee the product portfolio, ensuring effective prioritization, optimization, and alignment with strategic objectives
- Lead the development of business cases, feasibility assessments, pricing strategies, and investment recommendations for product initiatives
Product Lifecycle & Innovation
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and market assessment through development, launch, growth, enhancement, and retirement
- Drive innovation initiatives and lead the identification, evaluation, and development of new products, features, and services
- Define and maintain product roadmaps that clearly communicate priorities, timelines, and strategic initiatives across the organization
Market Research & Customer Insights
- Direct market analysis, customer research, and competitive intelligence activities to identify opportunities, emerging trends, and customer requirements
- Ensure products deliver exceptional customer experiences by incorporating customer feedback and continuously improving usability, functionality, and value
- Establish and monitor product performance metrics, customer adoption rates, revenue contribution, and market performance indicators
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Launch
- Work closely with engineering, technology, operations, marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure successful product delivery and adoption
- Oversee the gathering, analysis, and prioritization of business requirements and customer needs to define product specifications
- Lead product launch planning and execution, ensuring successful go-to-market strategies, stakeholder readiness, and customer adoption
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Engage and collaborate with executive leadership, business units, customers, partners, and external stakeholders to align product objectives
- Develop and manage product budgets, resource plans, and investment priorities to maximize product performance and ROI
- Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product management team, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Promote a culture of product excellence by implementing product management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage
- 5–10 years of experience in product management or a closely related role
- English proficiency at an Advanced / Business negotiation level
- Strategic thinking with a strong commercial awareness and results orientation
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Creativity, innovation mindset, and strong decision-making capabilities
