System Analyst (f/m)
Location: Skopje
(project position until Dec 2023)
Mission
The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) team is the product owner of ProDIGI, a new programme management IT solution built on the Salesforce platform, which is run in cooperation with an external vendor and with other business owners of the system.
ProDIGI aligns the programme management process of all programme types and areas with each other, and allows streamlined performance benchmarking as well as planning and steering of programmes across the federation.
The position’s purpose is to contribute to the development and maintenance of the ProDIGI application as part of the application scrum team, using technical expertise to design and implement solutions for the instance.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Business Requirement Development and Management
- Articulate and develop business requirements into well-defined product backlog items in collaboration with Business Analysts and the Developer
- Contribute to the management of the product backlog by aiding in the prioritization and completion of requirements as delegated
Solution Testing and Iteration Management
- As a part of the scrum development team, contribute to sprints by organizing and contribution to testing. This includes unit, integration, and system testing, as well as user acceptance and integration testing.
- Assist in implementation of automated testing by developing and running test cases
Product Maintenance and Improvement
- Participate actively in the service desk development, including expanding to regional service desks, integrating with the ERP service desk, and implementing feedback mechanisms and ensuring quality resolutions of issues.
- Analyse help desk feedback and develop new detailed business requirements and software specifications for inclusion in the product backlog
Knowledge Base and Learning
- Responsible for maintenance of the product knowledge base platform, which houses all user guides and technical documentation for the system
- Contribute to creating and maintaining digital “learning pathways”
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent in Information Systems, IT or Business Administration with focus on IT
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Requirements Engineering and/or Application Lifecycle Management
- Proven track record in software development project
- Relevant work experience in iNGOs or international organisations would be an advantage
- Experience with Salesforce is an advantage
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to structure and explain technical content comprehensively
- Fluent English language skills
