Technical Solutions Architect

Introduction:

An excellent opportunity for a Technical Solution Architect to join a regional IT distribution company.

The Enterprise department is the technical know-how center and home of technical competences for building the best private as well as hybrid cloud solutions, supporting our customers in their growth and digital transformation.

This role is suitable for senior level candidates.

What You’ll Do

• As a Technical Solutions Architect you are best placed to discover the infrastructure challenges of our customers and make suggestions on improvements.
• Plan, Design, develop and quote complex on-prem / private or hybrid data center solutions and help our customers migrate and transform.
• Communicate with various vendors and their solution architects and technical pre-sales teams
• Serve as regional subject matter expert in data center solutions, covering primarily the markets of Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo
• Develop strong technical relationships within the target accounts and account teams; serve as trusted advisor to account teams & customers
• Work closely with all team members to interpret and evolve requirements into product features
• Actively work with customers to meet technical challenges and SLAs, with a proactive and preventive approach to problem solving
• Plan, organize and prioritize personal as well as team workload

What You’ll Need to be Successful

• Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar and related areas
• You should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share your knowledge
• Be able to operate effectively in a team environment with both technical and non-technical team members and deliver projects on time
• Proven experience in solutions design (pre-sales) of complex robust, scalable and on-prem cloud-based platform and architectures
• In-depth knowledge of networking an associated technology, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, File Transfer Protocols, Telnet and Secure Shell, Load balancer, Domain Name System and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, among others.
• Proven experience with production systems and dealing with production issues
• Experience and knowledge in Enterprise Data Storage and/or Backup systems
• Experience with setting up, tuning and troubleshooting database clusters
• Experience in working with SAN attached (FC, FCoE) systems, Lınux or UNIX platforms
• Experience in any of the leading application server platforms (Apache Tomcat, Oracle Glassfish, IBM WebSphere)

• 5+ years of experience in the above areas

• Good team player with excellent interpersonal & communication skills;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English Language.
