Transportation and Logistics Company based in the USA is looking for a Safety Manager to join our team. 

• Previous EXPERIENCE in transportation and logistics is required. 
• This is a “Work from Office” position - 2nd shift.
• Proficient knowledge of KeepTrucking and Samsara ELDs
• English is the primary language for internal and external communication.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance is met on all drivers, reinstatements and rehires according our Safety policies and USDOT regulations. 
• Work with Recruiters, Application Processors and Fleet Managers to ensure all required documents are completed by every driver.
• Audit and confirm the application is complete in its entirety, work history, CDL and medical card, violations, accidents, and background information. Investigate and verify driver employment history listed on the application.
• Screen all incoming drivers to ensure they meet our company’s hiring standards.
• Audit all driver ELDs to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Provide backup support to the safety department as needed.  
• Assist with safety inspections as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel & Word.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
