Vox Teneo is a human-sized web application development and MSP, located in Skopje, specialized in web solutions for worldwide customers. We are looking for a Junior System Administrator and Support Specialist. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Monitoring and Intervention in Production Incidents  

• Deployment, management and maintenance of computers, servers and other network devices  

• Active participation in technical meetings to improve our solutions  

• Evaluation of technical requirements, and delivery of ad hoc solutions  

• Maintenance of infrastructure documentation  

• Systems technical support for internal and external customers 

Profile 

• IT Bachelor’s Degree or experience equivalent. 

• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.  

• Applicants must be willing to work in Skopje.  

• Basic IT operations and engineering background. 

• Ability to work independently as well as with a team. 

• Ability to Multi-Task and be resourceful. 

• Strong communication and organization skills. 

• Ability to communicate to all level of the business. 

• High proficiency in English. 

Required Skills 

• Experience with Open Source and Microsoft web servers and reverse-proxy (Apache, IIS, Nginx) 

• Experience with Microsoft SAAS solutions (Office365, SharePoint, AzureAD) 

• Skills in Linux and Microsoft operating systems (Debian, Ubuntu, Windows) 

• Knowledge of networking, routing, VPNs (IPSec, OpenVPN, PPTP protocols) 

• Virtualization experience (VMWare) 

• Basic knowledge of database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, MongoDB) 

• Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python) 

• Knowledge of network monitoring and tools 

• Competent with mainstream office automation, project management, and communications tools. 

Beneficial Skills 

• Experience in Azure, AWS or GCP 

• Working experience with Docker and Kubernetes 

• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Azure DevOps 

• Infrastructure as a code experience (Terraform) 

• Elastic Stack
