Job Description

This position is an independent function on Department Manager Level and is designed to work with everyone across the organization in order to start the implementation of the LEAN Management concept.

The Job holder is responsible and accountable for continuous improvement and efficiencies across the Company’s products, systems, operations and processes.

Overall Purpose of the Role:

Working with the Senior Management Team, develop, set the pace and implement business transformational and continuous improvement strategy with sensitivity towards the organizational structure, commercial approach, culture, people and processes.

Reports directly to the Technical and Commercial Plant Managers.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Lead and design Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization;
  • Manage all activities for continuous improvement and performance enhancement;
  • Movement and performance enhancement;
  • Employ Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives;
  • Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets;
  • Has full authority for personnel actions in all respective departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or Science or equivalent;
  • Minimum of five (5) years of Operations, Engineering, or Lean experience;
  • Knowledge in Lean Tools such as Standard Work, Problem Solving, TPM, Lean Material Systems, and SMED;
  • Previously worked on Continuous Improvement projects;
  • Hands-on experience implementing improvements in a continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, TPS, etc.), line management or consulting role;
  • Experience in managing a team/and or various projects;
  • Fluent English;
  • Extensive knowledge of department processes;
  • LEAN certified by an international organization of certification;
  • Great Leadership Skills; Self-motivated; Must have ability for persuasion;
  • Drive and ability to carry out changes in a proper way.
