We are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer that will help us deliver our security solutions to our clients, as well as manage our own cloud infrastructure.

As the Infrastructure Engineer your primary responsibilities will be to administer and maintain the infrastructure systems in our data centres and in the cloud. This role requires a broad experience of Microsoft technologies and specific experience of Windows, VMWare and Linux services to monitor critical systems, resolve incidents and problems. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning and implementing new infrastructure solutions.

As an Infrastructure Engineer required to work on existing projects within this clients current Infrastructure team. This role would be working at a 3rd line level and would suit someone who has 2nd/3rd line experience or good 3rd line knowledge and wanted to progress that on an enterprise estate. 

As an Infrastructure Engineer you will need to have excellent experience of deploying and supporting VMWare, Linux/Unix and Microsoft technologies. You will be working with 0365, Azure, AD, VMWare and other Hypervisor solutions.

Your Responsibilities

- Providing system administration work on production and non-production VMWare environments.
- Provide on-duty services out of the working hours
- Responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, operating, and supporting all cloud and on-prem system environments
- Perform user administration and new release installation
- Ensuring the administration services are performed by the highest possible quality and in the fastest possible time ensuring the system stability
- Monitoring system health and performance & Tune system performance and automate possible system administration work
- Communicate to end-users about system maintenances
- Effective communication with internal team members and end-users related to ensuring fast issue resolution
- Document deployments and procedures
