We are a fast growing technology company and are establishing a new software development centre in Skopje.
Producing software products to a high level of quality is crucial to our success as a company, particularly as our products are used by healthcare organisations. The company has decided to invest significantly in an exciting new Continuous Delivery initiative to improve quality and speed to market of our products.
Role Summary:
The Test Automation Engineer will be accountable for ensuring that software releases are of a high quality, fit for purpose and have successfully completed testing, through the development of new, high-value automated test scripts, maintenance and refactoring of existing suite and ongoing execution of automated test scripts, giving visibility of results to all stakeholders as required.
The successful candidate will use excellent communication and analytical skills to work within the team to prioritise the areas of functionality requiring automated test and identifying the most efficient way to document manual testcases for conversion into an automated script.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in all phases of Quality Assurance as part of a team using the Scrum process framework. Everything from writing manual scripts to developing automated scripts in line with company standards, ensuring good structure and robust, repeatable test framework
- Be ready to write keywords, XPath, and automated tests in Selenium.
- Be able to install all the necessary tools and libraries for automation.
- Monitor the result of the execution of automated test suites on builds and releases to increase confidence and visibility of quality - and detect regression issues early in the development cycle.
- Liaise with Product Owners and Developers to ensure application defects found through test automation are prioritised appropriately.
- Active participant in the team Scrum process.
- Proficient user of the Robot framework, go-server, TFS, Test Manager, Visual studio, Eclipse.
Skills/Qualifications/Experience Required:
Key skills required include:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a QA Engineer, ideally working within a Scrum development environment. Excellent, proven testing skills, with an ability to demonstrate this during the interview process.
- Or coming from a developer background and want to move to Quality Assurance.
- Experience of test automation
- Experience of testing or development of web-delivered software applications.
- High level of attention to detail with a methodical, patient approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Consistently drives for improvement.
Desirable Skills:
- ISEB Foundation certificate.
- Technical background
- Experience of load and stress testing
