Datacom Engineer

Job description
As a Datacom Engineer, You’ll have the following responsibilities:

Technical Support in the field of Datacom Network in all technical aspects
-
Project implementation, technical supervision and training of subcontracting companies or service partners.

Prepare, implement and test software upgrades of network elements
-
Provide Level 1/Level 2 technical support services to the customers independently or jointly with a technical support team.

Track and solve all technical issues customer caring about , provide customer necessary technical support and suggestion, keep good cooperation with customer

Provide an emergency support for the network elements
-
Pre-sales support for testing, bidding or holding workshops in the field of Datacom Network
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
-
University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication or relevant.

At least 3 years technical service experience in telecom field
-
Deeply understanding the Metro and Core network design
-
Very good knowledge of VLAN/IP/MPLS/VPN/BGP network theory and Routers & LAN switches operation.
-
Knowledge of Access network, Transmission network, Wireless network and Core network will be treated as an advantage
-
Good communication skills and learning capability, ability to cooperate and work with peoples from different cultures in a fast-paced changing environment

Prefer to have CCNP/CCIE or similar certifications
-
Strong troubleshooting competence and Maintenance skills

Able to work under pressure and tight deadline
-
Fluency in English
