Job role
As a member of the Nedcann team, the QC Specialist would be responsible for controlling and maintaining the quality of medicinal cannabis growth and processed on-site. The position is accountable for development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of the quality control program and control systems in compliance with the Nedcann polices and procedures.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for thought leaders with a consultative approach to set the standard and improve continuously.
Hard Skills:
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy or Chemistry;
- Professional experience in quality control in the GMP area;
- Profound knowledge of various analytical methods (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, etc.);
- Knowledge of method transfer, validation, qualification, calibration as well as the applicable GMP guideline;
- Expertise in development and updating of specifications, analytical methods and procedures relating to laboratory activities;
- Experience in development of sampling methods;
- Experience in validation of analytical methods according to ICH guidelines;
- Fluent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Soft Skills:
- Structured working method and analytical thinking skills;
- Strong communication and assertiveness skills;
- Willingness to perform and good handling of stressful situations;
- High motivation and ability to work in a team.
