As ONE Macedonia establishes and grows its local presence, we are looking for a seasoned Wholesale Specialist eager to be part of a transformative journey from the ground up.


This is a greenfield operation, with the ambition to build full operational capacity — offering a rare opportunity to shape a company's foundation and leave a lasting impact.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Wholesale Business Management

• Manage and develop relationships with local and international telecom operators, carriers, and partners
• Negotiate wholesale agreements covering voice, SMS, roaming, IP transit, signaling, and capacity services
• Monitor market trends, pricing models, and competitor activities

Commercial & Financial Performance

• Optimize revenue and margin across all wholesale services
• Analyze traffic flows, cost structures, and revenue streams
• Identify arbitrage opportunities and new avenues for business growth

Traffic & Routing Optimization

• Oversee international voice and messaging traffic routing strategies
• Collaborate with technical teams to improve quality metrics (ASR, ACD, latency)
• Detect and mitigate fraud, grey routes, and quality degradation issues

Roaming & Interconnect Management

• Support the negotiation and management of roaming agreements
• Coordinate testing and onboarding of new roaming partners
• Manage and monitor interconnect and signaling infrastructure (SS7, Diameter, IPX/GRX)

Operational Coordination

• Work closely with network, finance, and legal teams to ensure operational alignment
• Manage billing disputes and reconciliation processes
• Ensure accurate rating, invoicing, and reporting across all wholesale accounts

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare regular reports on traffic, revenue, and margin performance
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management
• Support forecasting and budgeting activities for wholesale services
  

REQUIREMENTS


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 5–10 years of professional experience in telecom wholesale or a closely related role
• English proficiency at an Advanced / Business negotiation level
• Strong knowledge of wholesale telecom services: international/domestic voice & SMS, roaming, IPX/GRX, and signaling
• Commercial mindset with proven negotiation experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the telecommunications sector is required
  

PREFERRED SKILLS


• Familiarity with wholesale platforms such as routing tools and billing systems
• Understanding of fraud management practices in telecom
• Experience in contract management and SLA negotiation
• Knowledge of industry standards and bodies (GSMA, ITU)
