Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced OSP Engineer to join our team. The OSP Engineer will be responsible for designing and planning the outside plant (OSP) facilities and related infrastructure necessary to support telecommunications services to our clients.

Role and Responsibilities

• Engineer OSP facilities including conduit systems, manholes, handholes, pedestals, aerial and buried cable systems.
• Prepare detailed design drawings and specifications for OSP construction projects using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
• Coordinate with other internal departments to ensure that OSP designs are compliant with applicable regulations and industry standards.
• Obtain required permits and approvals for OSP construction projects from municipalities, utilities, and other regulatory agencies.
• Perform field engineering work to verify and locate existing OSP infrastructure and to identify potential construction obstacles.
• Manage OSP construction projects from initiation to completion, including cost tracking, scheduling, and quality control.
• Coordinate with other engineering teams to ensure that OSP designs are compatible with internal network architecture.
• Maintain accurate documentation of OSP construction projects and update as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, civil, telecommunications engineering оr geodesy
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in OSP engineering and construction.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure including fiber optic cabling systems.
• Experience with CAD software and GIS systems for OSP design and planning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver projects on time and within budget.
