We are looking for a Functional Tester.
Main Responsibilities
- Play a key role in software quality improvement for customer-facing websites
- Identify test scenarios for web site solutions produced by the team
- Write test plans and perform functional, standards and cross-browser compliance testing
- Identify and document all system errors
- Maintain a repository of system test plans
- Ensure all work meets customer expectations and departmental quality standards
- Maintain an active knowledge of software testing tools, standards, and processes
- Take ownership for and maintain user documentation
Profile
- High level of IT literacy
- Proven previous experience in testing web applications
- Ability to define test cases from functional requirements
- Expert in cross-browser/environment testing
- Experience of specific tools and processes used in web software testing
- Knowledge of web standards and technologies including accessibility compliance
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience in writing test cases and preparing test plans.
- Experience with an automated test tool (Selenium, xUnit, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written
- Communicates test results, as well as any errors or issues discovered during testing, to QA team and developers.
- Takes part in the planning and implementation of the testing and quality strategy for new and existing projects.
- Handles multiple projects with changing priorities and meet concurrent deadlines.
- Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to “think outside of the box”
- An aptitude for ongoing learning and the ability to develop skill sets
- Professional, positive, and results-oriented approach
- Focused and enjoys working independently
- Identifies, investigates, reports, and tracks bugs to closure.
- Experience with load, stress, volume testing
Required Skills
- Min. 2 year QA experience with web-based applications
- IT Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree or experience equivalent
- Knowledge of manual testing
- Strong automation testing experience
- Develops and executes automated test scripts.
- Identifies, investigates, reports and tracks bugs to closure.
- Handles multiple projects with changing priorities and meet concurrent deadlines.
- Communicates test results, as well as any errors or issues discovered during testing, to QA team and developers.
- Takes part in the planning and implementation of the testing and quality strategy for new and existing projects.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
- Excellent technical computer & internet skills
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
The following skills are a plus:
- Experience in writing test cases and preparing test plans.
- Experience with an automated test tool (Katalon Studio, Selenium WebDriver, WebDriverIO and Programming Languages: , Groovy, JS)
- Experience with load, stress, volume testing in .NET based infrastructure.
