qBit Solutions is an IT company with headquarters in Skopje, Macedonia. Founded in 2015, qBit Solutions has been offering its services to clients all around the world. Our primary focus is development and maintenance of modern intuitive IT solutions with an emphasis on performance, security and protecting the privacy of end users by providing low level hosting infrastructure and leveraging on cutting edge technologies like AI & blockchain. THE POSITION

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer who can help build and participate in a modern, efficient and comprehensive testing practice. Working with our team and testing our application suites to ensure delivery of a high quality product to our customers. REQUIREMENTS:

• Have at least 3 years of experience as a software quality assurance test engineer
• Experience with some automation framework development using Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Protractor or other commercial or open source tool
• Experience with XML, JSON and testing with web services
• Understanding of object oriented concepts, Web applications UI model, HTTP and Responsive Web testing
• Direct experience working with RESTful APIs
• Experience with CI tools
• Experience/Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins and Public Cloud is a plus
• Strong UNIX/Linux operational skills and experience with Shell scripting is a plus
• Motivated self-starter capable of removing roadblocks
   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with product design teams and collaborate on design and implementation of automated test suites to verify build and deployment quality
• Perform analysis and execution of manual test cases to verify functional requirements.
• Develop and review automated test scripts for cross platform applications; continuously increase functional automation test coverage
• Review new projects and manual tests to identify areas that should be automated
• Support maintenance of test environments and test data.
• Be an active participant in improving development processes
• Support creation of QA documentation
• Report bugs and errors to development teams

LOCATION

Our new office in Skopje is located in the KUBUS business center at the intersection of the “Saint Clement of Ohrid” church. There is a city bus stop located couple of steps away from the office entrance which offers easy access to route through the town by using public transportation. For all sporting and “healthy lifestyle” enthusiasts there is a bike lane in front of the office building that connects with multiple major bike lanes throughout the city. In addition, the office is also located on the beginning of “Debar Maalo”, one of the most attractive neighborhoods in Skopje which offers a great variety of cafes and restaurants ideal for brunch and after work meetings. Within walking distance there are also several other IT companies, startups, hacklabs making it a central hub for innovative minds.
