We are looking for a new team member, a UI/UX Designer. Do you want to learn and grow, to work in a dynamic global environment filled with everyday stories?
Allocate Software is a leading international provider of workforce management software. Our application suite helps thousands of hospitals and healthcare organisations manage and optimise teams of nurses and doctors to improve patient care. We are a global company with 600 employees and offices in the UK, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, USA and Australia.
We are a fast growing technology company and are establishing a new software development centre in Skopje.
Producing software products to a high level of quality is crucial to our success as a company, particularly as our products are used by healthcare organisations. The company has decided to invest significantly in an exciting new Continuous Delivery initiative to improve quality and speed to market of our products.
As the UI/UX Designer you will:
- Have excellent communication skills, being able to communicate design solutions to the product stakeholders.
- Create and design mock-ups using Photoshop or illustrator
- Design solutions for both desktops, tablet and mobile
- Take a design solution and turn it into a HTML/CSS page, ready for a developer
- Work well within a team and with your fellow designers and in a scrum environment
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Have a strong understanding of digital graphic design, typography, and interface design.
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
Requirements:
- University Degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design or related subject
- At least 2 years of experience as a web developer / designer
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- A strong foundation in graphic design though a portfolio of work, which should include visuals and websites.
- Solid understanding and practise of usability principles and standards-based design patterns.
- The ability to effectively communicate your design processes and decisions that led to your solutions.
- Experience of SCRUM or other agile processes preferred
- The desire to learn and be challenged to create great user experiences
