QUALITY CONTROL ASSISTANT - Kumanovo, R. MACEDONIA
Job Description
A quality assistant is responsible for working with a plant technologist (QC Manager). The main tasks could involve assisting the manager in sampling, assessing and verifying that the products meet certain set standards. Along with the manager, the quality assistant ensures that legal compliance and expectations of the customers are met. In addition, the quality assistant may also have to keep proper documentation of the product assessment results and may assist in placing orders for raw materials and conducting inventory.
Responsibilities will include, but not be restricted to
- Help in the assessment of product (reception, production, shipment)
- Ensure that the product meets customer requirements
- Assist in implementing performance and quality improvement programs
- Ensure products comply with quality and legal standards
- Help the quality manager to guide and train production staff in quality measures
- Prepare quality reports
- Keep track of staff production schedules
- Assist quality manager to conduct training sessions to workers
- Computer skills, Knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- Collating data and presenting them in graphs and charts
- Inventory control
Qualifications:
- Faculty education as food technologist
- Diploma for work safety is mandatory
- 2 years’ experience in food processing companies on quality control positions
- Fluent English (spoken written)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Well organized
- Great problem-solving skills
- Good statistical ability
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proactive and multitask
- Work in a team and also independently
- Work without supervision
REMUNERATION/ SALARY: Competitive according the experience
