We are a leading company in the cannabis industry, dedicated to producing high-quality products for our customers while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and oversee the installation and maintenance of all mechanical systems within the facility.
- Ensure mechanical systems comply with local regulations, safety codes, industry standards, and internal SOPs.
- Maintain mechanical, P&ID drawings, and system documentation.
- Evaluate and implement energy-efficient technologies.
- Provide mechanical support and coordinate with vendors and technicians during the installation, testing, and validation of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues as needed.
- Monitor and work with the Building Management System.
- Prepare for and support inspections and audits by regulatory authorities or third-party auditors (GMP, ISO, etc.).
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical systems and equipment.
- Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Participate in the planning and execution of new construction, expansions, or retrofitting projects related to facility infrastructure.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial surrounding.
- Familiarity with GMP, GACP, or regulated production environments is highly desirable.
- Experience with HVAC system will be considered as a plus.
- Strong technical documentation, troubleshooting, and team collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PLC systems, or SCADA is a plus.
- Working knowledge of English and Macedonian for technical documentation and communication.
