Discount Lots sells vacant land online & they are changing the way real estate is transacted digitally. Not only did they go from 0 to 60 employees in 2 years, but they also expect to expand two to three times their current size in the next year!

Their portfolio of buyers has grown rapidly over the last several years and they have expanded into new states and markets at a rapid rate. Discount Lots continues to grow into new markets and are excited to keep making land affordable for a growing audience of buyers.

They currently have circa 42 team members, based in the US, Eastern Europe and the Philippines. They are a young entrepreneurial company that values each and every member. No idea is a bad idea, and they will listen and try most ideas a team member has.

Discount Lots is growing their team and are looking to hire a Recruitment & HR Manager to ensure that they find the very best top talent by (pro)actively recruiting. As their next Recruitment & HR Manager, you will play a key role in the business by driving their talent growth forward!

More specifically, within this role, you will:

• Create job posts
• Manage/maintain the recruiting process & build recruiting systems
• Recruit actively via LinkedIn
• Schedule and conduct first rounds of interviews
• Manage all different aspects of the HR department, such as payroll, 401k, benefits, insurance, etc.
• Develop, update and implement HR policies and procedures
• Handle employee complaints and disputes
• Review and update employee rules and regulations
• Maintain the human resource information system
• Keep up to date on current employment legislation and government regulations affecting HR functions and enforcing them within the company
• Conduct exit interviews and document all feedback

In your first week at Discount Lots, you will learn more about the business, the company culture & meet with the team; however, we expect you to be an expert on all things recruitment & bring your expertise to the table!

To excel as Discount Lots’ new Recruitment & HR Manager, you need to have:

• 3+ years of experience in Recruitment and HR with a proven track record of success
• Experience sourcing and recruiting top talent
• Experience implementing and handling HR policies and maintaining HR system
• Solid experience with sourcing candidates via LinkedIn
• Entrepreneurial mindset and eagerness to help the company grow
• Self-sufficient attitude & excellent problem-solving skills
• Passion for recruitment & HR – you are excited about going above and beyond for the love of recruiting and HR

What’s in it for you?

• $1800 - $2500* per month
• Full-time employment with a daily minimum of 4-hour overlap with US & Eastern European time
