Position Name: Chief Accountant Macedonia
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for accurate accounting records in all areas (Sales, Depreciation, Cash, Tax, etc…) in accordance with local and corporate rules,
· Responsible for control of legality, timeliness and accuracy of primary and accounting, tax documentation,
· Responsible for timely and accurate preparation in accordance with local accounting standards balance sheets and Profit & Losses reports, Cash Flow, other accounting and statistic documentation required by local legislation,
· Responsible for monthly preparation balance sheets and Profit & Losses reports, Cash Flow, other accounting reports/information required by corporate rules following the related deadlines to be used by the financial controller,
· Responsible for timely reconciliation with the Head Office, suppliers, tax authorities, reconcile bank statements, Tax Refund operations, sales and etc.
· Handle Tax audits and requests of Tax authorities keeping Head Office in the loo,.
· Responsible of accurate application of tax rules & accurate and timely implementation of any change,
· Handle external audit and Internal control audit for accounting area,
Requirements:
· Macedonian native . English fluent, (Turkish will be a plus)
· University degree,
· Professional experience minimum 3-5 years as Chief Accountant preferably in retail,
· Excellent knowledge of local accounting and Macedonian Taxation rules,
· Knowledge about ET– KNIGA report,
· Good knowledge Excel , SAP,
· Strong communicational skills, ability to efficiently communicate with different levels of correspondents,
· Accuracy and attentiveness to details,
· Responsible, self-motivated, stress-resistant, driven to excellence, involved, business oriented, highly compliant, open to changes.
