At FLOWER POWER, we are currently looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our team and ensure that every product leaving our facility meets our rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Perform detailed lab testing and ensure adherence to both company and industry quality control protocols.
• Document inspection results, create detailed reports, and track defects or deviations.
• Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot quality issues and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal cannabis industry regulations, including good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• Perform audits and internal inspections to ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
• Support the implementation of corrective actions for non-conformance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in quality assurance or quality control in a manufacturing setting, preferably within the cannabis industry.
• Strong understanding of GMP, GACP, and regulatory standards in the cannabis sector.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to document and report findings clearly.
• Knowledge of lab equipment and testing methods for cannabis products.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as pharmacy, chemistry, microbiology, etc.
