Position Overview:
As a Qualified Person (QP) in the cannabis industry, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all products meet the necessary regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for overseeing the release of cannabis products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and guaranteeing that products are safe, effective, and of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the quality assurance and regulatory compliance of cannabis products throughout their lifecycle, from production to distribution.
• Ensure that all cannabis products are manufactured, stored, and distributed in compliance with applicable local and national regulations.
• Conduct thorough reviews of batch records, testing results, and product specifications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Release products for sale, ensuring that all necessary approvals and certifications are in place.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, ensuring all documentation and reporting requirements are met in a timely manner.
• Work closely with quality control, production, and R&D teams to ensure continuous product quality improvement.
• Monitor the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Agricultural Practices (GACP).
• Prepare for and assist with regulatory audits and inspections, providing any necessary documentation or responses.
• Ensure that all product labeling and packaging meet regulatory requirements and accurately reflect product content.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on regulatory requirements and quality assurance procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with specialization in pharmaceutical technologies or testing and quality control of medicines.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a regulated environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical, cannabis, or similar industries.
• Strong understanding of cannabis product manufacturing processes and regulations.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GMP, GACP, and local cannabis laws.
• Experience in conducting product releases and batch review processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with regulatory authorities and senior management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A proactive approach to ensuring compliance and quality at every stage of production.
