Financial Administrator

We are looking for a seasoned Accounting professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience working in a(n) (international) corporate environment. The Head of the Finance and ICT Department will work directly with the group CFO to cascade the corporate business strategy and establish/drive implementation in Finansted ce and ICT.

Key Accountabilities

  • Accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the group, to include the development of metrics and KPI’s tied to the business strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.
  • Optimize working capital and cash management.
  • Accountable for the financial modelling of the long-term business plan and provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of the short-, mid- and long-term financial objectives and plans.
  • Provide strategic financial input, insights into the financials and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company (i.e., growth, new markets, and investments). Provide recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
  • Provide input to the Group CFO in relation to managing the accounting, investor relations, tax, and treasury activities of the Group, and ensure compliance with legal and company regulations, accounting principles, standards, and business requirements.
  • Drive the Group’ financial planning including (analysis of) budgets, forecasts, consolidation and reporting for the Group.
  • Responsible for managing the governance requirements including coordination of the company’s risk management, policy, and compliance.
  • Define and initiate corrective actions in case of financial irregularities, non-compliance, non-adherence and/or other financial concerns.
  • Provide vision, leadership and governance of the ICT strategy (at least) as far as it relates to Financial reporting and data analyses to support business needs.
  • Manage, motivate, and coach the Finance and ICT team, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, work allocation, conflict resolution and termination.
  • Support and advise the Global Leadership Team (GLT).
  • Support the Group CFO in managing the relation with the auditors, bankers, and other financial suppliers.
  • Responsible to prepare monthly leadership team reporting as well as quarterly financial reporting packages.
  • Set up underlying modeling and calculations for budget and multi-year forecast scenarios. Prepare related financial analysis and reporting in relation to these scenarios.
  • Manage the financial reporting tool of the Group, and its integration with other applications where necessary.

 

Education Specific certification and knowledge

  • Master's in business economics, certified public auditor or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of audit / bookkeeping rules (RA/CPA).
  • Knowledge of accounting, consolidation, payroll, internal controls, transfer pricing policy, tax, & planning and control cycles.
  • Extensive Accounting experience with international companies.
