Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair activities for the trucking company's fleet of vehicles. This role involves coordinating maintenance schedules, tracking maintenance records, and managing relationships with external service providers.
- Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance and repairs for the fleet of vehicles.
- Track maintenance records and ensure compliance with scheduled maintenance requirements.
- Communicate with drivers and internal teams to identify and address vehicle maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with external service providers to arrange maintenance appointments and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities and costs.
- Monitor vehicle inspection reports and address any safety or compliance issues.
- Analyze maintenance data and implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize breakdowns and optimize fleet performance.
The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator reports directly to the Fleet Manager.
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with the knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and regulations.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software or systems.
- Understanding of fleet maintenance best practices.
- Must be Company/Team minded.
- Must be willing to travel
