Job description:
- Coordinate monthly closing process and responsible for reconciliation of general ledger accounts and maintaining all the data for imports, exports, stocks, fixed assets, bank accounts, etc.;
- Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines;
- Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations;
- Assisting the Finance Manager in the preparation of financial statements reports and ad hoc requests;
- Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns (VAT, WHT, PIT, CIT), ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements as per the Tax Authority Deadlines;
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts;
- Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures;
- Assisting during internal/external audits and Tax Authorities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
- Provide guidance to other Accountants when needed;
- Evaluate ERP systems and provide recommendations to IT team for performance improvements.
Required qualifications:
- Accounting or Finance graduate degree;
- Fluency in written and spoken English language;
- Previous experience of 3-5 years in similar position;
- Previous experience of work at an industrial entity is an asset;
- Knowledge of local legal requirements and International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS);
- Strong computer skills, user knowledge of MS Office / SAP is an asset.
