On behalf of our client, an IT company with offices in Macedonia, USA, Netherlands and Serbia, DEKRA is looking for:

• Chief Operating Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Review budgets and staffing, design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures;
• Oversee daily operations of the company (Marketing, Sales, HR, Operations, etc.);
• Provide day-to-day leadership and management to a service organization that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company;
• Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives;
• Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external;
• Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company;
• Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes;
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization;
• Motivate and lead a high-performance management team;
• Represent the firm with clients, investors, and business partners;
• Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

• IT experience preferred, at least 10+ years’ work experience;
• Proficient in written and spoken English language;
• Good knowledge of different business functions, including finance;
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).

• Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating to the team;
• Ability to defuse confrontational situations and group tension;
• Flexible during times of change – can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
• Must be a team player with a proactive, positive “can do” attitude;
• Ability to understand the IT business cycle, how we sell, what we sell and how each individual fit in the business cycle, how we collect revenue etc., so the process can be explained to all employees and clients and the conversations can be driven from that point, as needed.
