LEGAL & COMPLIANCE TEAM MANAGER
Activities in the field of compliance
- Development and operation of the compliance management system taking into account the requirements of Law & Compliance International;
- Coordination and support of functional areas in the introduction of compliance controls and compliance measures to reduce compliance risks;
- Monitoring of the compliance management system for appropriateness and effectiveness and derivation of necessary improvement measures.
Activities in the field of data protection
- Coordination of data protection issues with all relevant stakeholders;
- Control of the implementation of the technical and organizational measures required;
- Processing of data protection complaints;
- Monitoring and analysis of the positions of the supervisory authorities;
- Representation of the company in questions of data protection to the outside world.
Activities in the field of legal services
- Support of contract negotiations as well as contract preparation and review;
- Development of contract standards and model contracts;
- Cross-departmental conception, coordination and implementation of the central contract management;
- Corporate administration, in particular management of permanent acts under company law.
Activities in the field of insurance
- Ensure that insurance coverage is identified, negotiated & procured and loss prevention is carried out;
- Ensure that insurance coverage is managed (communicate with the insurance cover (master/local) in the country, check reporting obligations and report to Insurance or the local insurer);
- Ensure that insurance claims are processed;
- Ensure that the international insurance strategy is implemented and local insurance is established.
Cross-divisional activities
- Conception, organization and implementation of awareness-raising and training;
- Communication with courts, authorities and external lawyers;
- Fulfillment of reporting obligations in accordance with the requirements of the Executive Board and Law & Compliance International.
Management tasks
- Creating appropriate framework conditions (organizational, personal) to ensure the implementation of tasks and to achieve the goals on time;
- Ensuring a positive and motivating work atmosphere, smooth, effective and efficient cooperation;
- Responsibility for the management and planning of resources and personnel, as well as the costs;
- Identifying potentials through standardized tools and promoting potentials;
- Building awareness among the employees regarding the importance of compliance with applicable laws and internal regulation.
PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree mandatory, Law Degree;
- 5 years’ experience in legal & compliance matters in a similar job role and leading a team;
- Solid English language knowledge, German is considered an advantage;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Attention to details;
- Time management.
