Position Overview: 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior HR Generalist to join our team. This role combines HR duties with general office management responsibilities to ensure efficient HR operations and a positive employee experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills to foster an optimal company culture and uphold effective governance standards.

Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

  • Collaborate with Shared Services to recommend HR solutions, support and drive initiatives, and implement new processes or tools to support business priorities.
  • Oversee day-to-day HR administration, including payroll, employee data, attendance management, and HRIS administration, while streamlining HR workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with all local labour laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay updated on legislative changes and proactively address potential compliance risks.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for managers and employees regarding general HR inquiries.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Office Management:

Administrative Support:

  • Oversee office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs for office equipment and facilities.

Event Planning:

  • Coordinate with the Workplace Experience team to organize and manage company events, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Manage logistics for office meetings and functions.

Communication:

  • Serve as the point of contact for office-related inquiries.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably within the gaming industry.
  • Proactive leader who will champion a thriving workplace culture and enforce exemplary governance principles.
  • Full understanding of employment law, HR functions, and best practices.
  • Good understanding of local payroll processing.
  • Proactive in addressing concerns and finding ways to improve the employee experience.
  • Willingness to support colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the HR department.
