NATIONAL PROGRAMME OFFICER (Part time 50%)

Under the supervision of the Head/Deputy Head of Mission/Cooperation and in close coordination with the Swiss State Secretariat for Migration (SEM), the successful candidate will have the responsibility for the local implementation of Switzerland’s migration policy and priorities at the political, geographical and thematic levels as well as for the operationalization of the Migration Partnership between Switzerland and North Macedonia. This entails preparing and accompanying the migration dialogue, as well as developing and overseeing a project portfolio of the SEM in potential areas such as asylum management, human rights, irregular migration, trafficking and return.In addition, the national programme officer is responsible for ensuring alignment with and support to selected migration related programs of the Global Programme for Migration and Forced Displacement (GPMFD) and Humanitarian Aid projects of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
