COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Telamon Industrial Solutions is rapidly becoming a North American leader in the assembly of automotive wire harnesses, primarily used in automotive safety application. As one of the largest private companies in Indiana, Telamon has eleven domestic locations and four international facilities in China, Mexico and Macedonia. For their production facility in Skopje, Macedonia, DEKRA  is looking for the following position:

• LOGISTICS MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop production schedules and make changes when needed to optimize production floor efficiency;
• Create new or modify existing work orders in ERP system based on customer changes due to drop in orders or increases/decreases in demand;
• Supervise and manage the Logistics team;
• Track and report shipment results;
• Develop and manage logistics KPIs;
• Schedule component and product distribution;
• Select and use carriers and third-party services;
• Coordinate delivery shipments to all customer locations;
• Ensure shipments are compliant with regulations;
• Review and analyze budgets, expenditures, and operations;
• Develop and document standard operating procedures;
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree, Master’s degree preferred;
• 3-4 years relevant logistics/warehouse experience;
• Previous experience as a manager, supervisor, coordinator, or relevant position;
• Experience in Automotive Industry procedures, costs, and terms;
• Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Advanced knowledge of English language.

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
• ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems competence;
• Traceability structure competence;
• Self-starter and team player;
• Proficient using MS Office;
• Ability to write advanced reports and correspondence;
• Identifying complex problems and related information to develop, evaluate and implement solutions;
• Awareness of TS16949 standards;
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices such as JIT, Kaban, Takt time;
• Ability to perform analytical activities.
