For our client Lidl, German international discount supermarket chain that operates over 12,000 stores across Europe and the United States, we are looking for:
HR SPECIALIST – SAP Key User
HR Services department is looking for a confident, driven and technical individual to join the HR Operations team. You will be a fundamental part of the team that supports the introduction of SAP related systems for Payroll and HR Administration and ensures the ongoing optimization of the SAP infrastructure and all contiguous systems. This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive and motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Active participation in the introduction of HR SAP for Payroll and HR Administration
- SAP HR support for Payroll and HR Administration users including system problem-solving and trouble shooting
- Experience with personnel administration, payroll and legislation
- Technical support and problem solving for wage and salary procedures in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external SAP consultants
- Responsible for the technical maintenance and optimisation of HR processes in SAP associated with the Payroll and HR Administration function
- Supporting the implementation of the company's digitalisation strategy by ensuring alignment between the system and actual HR processes
- Creation of user manuals and delivery of user training courses including concept presentations
- Ability to transfer the technical elements of SAP into understandable concepts and instructions for users of all levels
- Liaison with centralised Lidl International departments and national HR department to co-ordinate the implementations of company-wide HR processes in SAP
- Installation and testing of SAP support packages and releases, including annual adjustments
- Intense communication with international project leads for the purposes of handling already developed digital solutions, their adjustment, analytics, testing, roll-out
Key Qualifications and competences:
- University degree,
- You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position as HR Specialist, HR administrator, payroll specialist
- Previous experience working with SAP HR in an end user / super user capacity or other HRIS System
- Experience managing large volumes of data
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly and in depth
- Driven and motivated with a positive outlook, curious and able to solve problems
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- English language knowledge, German is a plus
- Confident with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Collaboration skills working across departments with users with differing levels of knowledge and experience
- Highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines
