For our international, e-commerce client, close to Eindhoven in the Netherlands, we are looking for:
NODEJS BACK END ENGINEER - NETHERLANDS
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- As an engineer, you want to work on innovations that matter. In an international and agile environment, you will work on innovative products and services.
- You will be working with technology that is relatively new, which will enable the teams to develop new features much faster.
- You will develop microservices (REST-style API’s) that will be deployed to our brand-new Kubernetes cluster.
- Your team consists of various frontend and backend engineers, scrum master, product owner, team lead and other specialists.
- Willing to relocate to Netherlands
You:
- You like to work in an Agile team.
- You have a passion for software development and love sharing it with your colleagues.
- You speak and write English fluently, and meet most of the following criteria:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience;
- At least 2 years of experience as a NodeJS or Javascript engineer, preferably in an e-commerce environment;
- Experience with NodeJS (Promises, Async/Await), Typescript, Git and libraries like Restify is preferred;
- Working experience with Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development using Cucumber / Gherkin scenarios is preferred.
REMUNERATION/ SALARY: Highly Competitive.
