Allocate Software Graduate Development Programme:

At Allocate Software we are the market leaders in what we do.

The Allocate Software Graduate Development Programme will provide you with invaluable experience in all aspects of the software lifecycle within a fast paced, dynamic organisation. You will be contributing to the ongoing success of an innovative team that uses leading edge skills, technologies and experience to improve the quality of patient care within healthcare organisations.

We are looking for strong candidates with a degree in Computer Science or related field and an 8 plus score.

 The Programme:

The 1 year programme will start with a 10 week bootcamp training delivered by our experts across a number of different roles. The bootcamp will cover Agile best practices, Product Ownership, Quality Assurance, DevOps and Software Engineering.

Once you complete it, you will have the opportunity to continue to work in the TechOps teams throughout your graduate year.

 During the 10 week bootcamp training you will experience how to:

•  Work in an Agile - Scrum environment and gain an understanding of working in collaborative cross - functional teams.
• Work with experienced product owners and domain experts to plan project roadmaps and define requirements based on business and customer value.
• Work closely with highly experienced QA engineers to ensure that applications meet requirements, scale and provide a first class user experience.
• Deliver high quality software quickly through continuous integration and delivery best practices.
• Fully participate in the design and coding of innovative business critical applications for healthcare organisations using web and mobile technologies.

Technologies:

Allocate Software is built on a predominantly AWS based Microsoft .NET platform making use of the following technologies:

• Microservices, AWS and Azure Cloud Services.
•  N-tier, web-based configurable enterprise applications.
• IIS, SQL Server, MSMQ.
• C#, HTML, JavaScript.
• Enterprise application frameworks.
• Microservices, AWS and Azure Cloud Services.
•  Jenkins, Octopus, Terraform, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Continuous integration and delivery.
• Agile, iterative development process.

Career Development:

Throughout the one year programme you will be provided with ongoing training and support. We offer external training combined with access to a wide range of skills and experience within our teams. You will also be provided with a mentor in each role to guide you through your journey. Successful completion of the first year will result in an associate position within your chosen specialism.
