Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safeguard all information system assets as part of the information security team.
• Implement effective and appropriate GRC controls to protect systems and data.
• Lead on compliance reviews, certifications and accreditations (e.g. ISO27001, GDPR etc.).
• Improve security practices through process improvement, policies and automation.
• Reporting of information security risks and results of assurance reviews
• Document, track and report control failures, gaps and remediation activities.
• Monitoring the information security controls, KRIs/KPIs and technical landscape.
• Validate IT ecosystem for security best practices and recommend changes to enhance security and reduce risks across critical business areas.
• Work with the internal and 3rd party teams to promote and adopt security best practices.
• Identify, communicate and manage current and emerging security threats with relevant stakeholders.
• Challenge the first line of cybersecurity defense functions.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in IT & Information Security.
• Comprehensive understanding of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO 2700x, ITIL, GDPR, etc.
• Proficiency in performing risk, business impact, control and vulnerability assessments, and in defining treatment strategies.
• Experience in Information systems auditing, monitoring, controlling, and assessment process.
• Knowledge of security technologies such as IDS/IPS, FW, DLP, SIEM, FIM and Vulnerability testing
• Experience in system security testing (vulnerability scanning and penetration testing).
• Experience in application security testing (white box, black box and code review).
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimum supervision
• Ability to negotiate remediation planning and efforts
• Ability to elicit and understand customer needs
