LIDL, the international German chain of grocery stores is expanding  in Macedonia. LIDL operates around 11,200 stores worldwide and are active in 32 countries, employing more than 310,000 people globally. On behalf of our client, DEKRA is looking for:

  • Finance Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Payment turnover
    • Ensuring solvency at all times, making timely payments and efficient payment processing;
    • Construction, operation, and further development of the systems necessary for the realization of the payment turnover in coordination with the competent national and international directions.
  • Means of payment
    • Provision and performance of contractual and administrative tasks related to payment instruments (e.g. collection of cash payments, card payments, vouchers (own and foreign), etc.
  • Liquidity
    • Ensuring safe and profitable investments;
    • Forecasting and results-oriented liquidity planning.
  • Financing and financial contracts
    • Assistance in negotiating financial contracts and fulfilment of all obligations arising from the concluded financial contracts;
    • Securing the conclusion of all necessary contracts relating to liquidity, funding, means of payment and payment turnover in the best possible conditions, while maintaining and improving the own creditworthiness and solvency;
    • Ensuring the management of financial contracts, in particular contracts/signing contracts for financing, contingent debts and financial derivatives, as well as their correct introduction in the relevant systems and fulfilment of contractual and reporting obligations;
    • Verification, registration, and management of all financial contracts/processes in accordance with the processes and accounting requirements documented in ARIS, as well as with the legal obligations / to the institutions, if applicable.
  • Financing of suppliers
    • Ensuring effective implementation of suppliers’ financing in the country, including support of national suppliers in connection with the Dynamic Discounting Portal.
  • Financial reporting and projects in the field of finance
    • Implementation of the required financial accounting, as well as results and risk-oriented financial controlling and implementation of resulting measures;
    • Assistance in preparing annual reports on financial matters;
    • Participation in national and international projects, preparation of professional requirements, performance of technical system tests/approvals in the course of projects and system launches.
  • Company-wide financial topics
    • Compliance with all legal requirements, internal company regulations, as well as guidelines in the field of compliance and risk management;
    • Minimizing the legal, financial and reputation risks as a result of financial processes and the financial contracts negotiating them;
    • Further development and documentation of all financial processes taking into account the intersections with other specialized areas;
    • Current reporting of the business processes he is in charge of in ARIS;
    • Implementation of biased control / control systems in the financial processes within and in accordance with the company principles;
    • Current control of the risks of all financial processes and the contractual partners related to them, as well as deriving the necessary measures to avoid/reduce the risk;
    • Identification and initiation of possible process optimizations, as well as the use of innovations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent knowledge of English language;
  • University Degree in finance and accounting;
  • 2 years proffessional experience.
