Job role
As a member of the Nedcann team, the Head of Manufacturing is responsible for ensuring that finished goods are of excellent quality. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes, packaging, and shipment of company’s product. This position requires a high level of interaction with both in-house staff and external vendors to ensure smooth, streamlined production processes. The candidate will work closely the company’s Quality Assurance Department to ensure all regulations are met throughout the production process. The Head of Manufacturing ensures production processes are accurately documented and carried out in accordance with Good Production Practices (GPP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
This role presents an excellent opportunity for thought leaders with a consultative approach to set the standard and improve continuously.
Hard Skills:
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or Life Sciences;
- Several years of experience in pharma manufacturing, supply chain (logistics/production planning) in a GMP environment;
- Experience in process development and ensuring GMP is used in production processes;
- Ability to prepare, review and execute GMP documents;
- Experience in scale-up/process R&D and technical transfer a plus;
- Experience with herbal medicines desirable
- Fluent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Soft Skills:
- Strengths in staff motivation, organization, communication and presentation, decisiveness and ability to work under pressure;
- Strong organizational skills, analytical, structured and systematic way of working;
- Leadership skills;
- High motivation and ability to work in a team.
