FTTH Project Manager

Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications-related field required;
  • Technical knowledge for development of telecommunication  network, with special focus on FTTH
  • At least 5 years of related experience required.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning.
  • Thorough understanding of telecommunication procedures and practices.
  • Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
  • Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner.
  • Knowing German language will be consider as a advantage

Job Description

  • Responsible for the overall supervision and training of the staff members to provide the necessary guidance.
  • Coordinates the field activities so that daily, short term and long-term production objectives can be achieved and closely monitors the progress of the work.
  • Studies what equipment is necessary for effective field operation, assists in its procurement, and makes sure that it is as per the given specifications.
  • May also be involved in the recruitment process, reviewing and evaluating the performance and makes sure that discipline is being followed on the field.
  • Delegates the work according to priority.
  • Ensures that the project construction work is carried out as per the assigned schedule and resolves all the construction problems on the spot, so as to improve the productivity.
  • Working based on plan and budget, with clearly defined targets.
  • Working in ERM system.
  • Assisting the CEO with ad-hoc requests and projects, as required.
  • Hires and trains members of the technical staff.
  • Assigns duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of project staff.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
