For our Client, company whose goal and scope of operation is IT integration services in the telecom industry, we’re looking:
Junior Software Developer
Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, debug, analyze and resolve technical and application/service problems
- Plan, design, test, and maintain code, software, applications, services in accordance with established standards
- Design algorithms, models, flowcharts in order to create new software/system/process
- Participate in peer-reviews of solution constructs and related code
- Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications/services
- Work in collaboration in migration of older applications to current technologies
- Support deployment of service/software releases
- Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software/services/applications
- Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.
- Compile and asses user feedback
- Provide support to business users
- Undertake other duties of a similar nature as required by line manager adequate to the nature and level of the post
Qualifications
- University degree in Information technology, computer science or similar
- Strong drive to learn and advance
- Short professional experience (1-2 years) is preferred but not mandatory
Core requirements
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
- Solid understanding of relational database design and querying
- Solid understanding of version control concepts
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
Desired skills
- Java, Rational Databases (SQL), XML
- Exposure to JAVA, TIBCO, TALEND
- Exposure to Python, Spring, Hibernate, Angular
- Knowledge of agile and scrum development methodologies
- Knowledge of unit testing theory and in a team environment
