The HeadHunter Group, for the needs of our client, one of the biggest insurance groups in Central and Eastern Europe, requires:

 

HEAD OF SALES – Skopje

 

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Meet with sales teams one-on-one weekly to review performance, progress, and targets                                                                      
  • Set targets, performance plans, and rigorous, objective standards for sales representatives                                                                       
  • Projecting expected sales volume for existing and newly introduced product   
  • Participating into product & services development                                                                            
  • Determines annual premium turnover of the sales network by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results                                                                   
  • Maintains premium sales volume and product mix according to changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.                                                                                           
  • Driving sales force productivity                                                                                   
  • People manager: Recruit, select, build, train and nurture a team.                                                   
  • Ensuring their team is using the correct selling behaviors and activities to meet their revenue objectives                                                                                    
  • Maintains and grows sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining sales agents and team leaders; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.      
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.                                                                                    
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.                                                           

 

REQUIREMENTS:  

  • University degree
  • experience in establishing and leading networks                      
  • experience in direct sales - min 5 years
  • experience in direct sales management  - min 3 years
  • good MS Office knowledge/excel
  • A sales manager is a people manager, customer manager, and business manager.
  • Interpersonal skills - leadership
  • Sales Planning
  • Staffing/recruiting
  • Counsel, support, discipline, and fire underperforming sales representatives
  • Ability to unite a team under a shared vision and know what motivates each member
  • Analytical skills: They use data-driven reports to spur sales coaching sessions and empower the sales team to take ownership of their opportunity pipelines. They understand pricing, margins, and discounting impacts
  • Market Knowledge
  • Cross functionality with other departments
  • The ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
  • Negotiation skills                  

 

REMUNERATION/ SALARY:  Competitive
