On behalf of our client Ericsson, one of the leading providers of telecommunications equipment, data communication systems, and related services covering a range of technologies including mobile networks, DEKRA is looking for :

Technical site support and Quality Auditor

Purpose of Job Role

  • The purpose of the role is to support technically and supervise civil works, on-site survey, network design, installation, commissioning, and integration activities of various types of equipment, from nodes, antenna systems to complete site systems solutions;
  • The role will also ensure that ASP personnel has the competence to deliver the service in accordance with Ericsson quality and OHS standards;
  • The job role is used for Wireline, Wireless and Transmission network deployment and can be adapted and used for managing all implementation services e.g. Network Design, Site Acquisition, Civil Works, Installation, Integration services etc;
  • The Quality Auditor will perform quality inspection on site in accordance to the QASIS methodology. Report the result and based on the result act to quality issues;
  • Support Network Rollout, Optimization and Acceptance. Ensure work is executed within in the Plan, Ericsson and Customer standards and OHS requirements.

  • Installers, Installation Coordinator, Project Management, Integration Engineer, Solution Architect, Implementation Management, Quality Organizations, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Customer Quality auditor.

Subordination

  • Implementation Manager;
  • Project Manager;
  • Program Manager.

Tools & Resources

  • Personal and common installation tools. Microsoft Office suite of programs. Incident Reporting Tools. Survey and design tools. QASIS method and process and OHS Site Safety Inspection Checklist.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in the work area of responsibility;
  • Experience in Customer relations;
  • Excellent technical skills;
  • Awareness of OHS Statutory requirements in the local market;
  • Recommends, introduces and communicates improvements. Carries out assignments without the need for instructions that may deviate from established procedures;
  • Solves problems. Develops and proposes solutions;
  • Deep/long experience of concepts and principles within own discipline;
  • Several years of experience in the work area of responsibility;
  • Driving license and ability to drive on off-road terrain;
  • Climber skills and experience for work on height. Certificate and equipment for working on height are advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support site survey, installation, commissioning and integration;
  • Resolve issues with teams’ access;
  • Check and resolve issues with inventory, warehouse and equipment keeping;
  • Check and approve Site Survey Reports;
  • Propose and Verify site solution;
  • Prepare documentation related to sites;
  • Technically guide and support installation, commissioning and integration teams;
  • Support and execute optimization activities;
  • Support and execute acceptance including acceptance documentation;
  • Inspect and report workmanship quality;
  • Execute Quality and OHS site audits and prepare reports;
  • Execute Site Risk assessment;
  • Report audit in QASIS database and create audit report. Propose corrective actions;
  • Monitor audit results for systematical faults;
  • Continuously monitor audit result for high running fault types;
  • Suggest improvements to improve quality on high fault rate;
  • Monitor implementation of improvements;
  • Support project team for faster deployment with better quality;
  • Execute common tasks related to the project activities.
