Sales Manager at REDI

Roma Entrepreneurship Development Initiative is an ecosystem builder focusing on developing tools to increase vulnerable communities’ economic empowerment. REDI is implementing its mission by promoting existing entrepreneurs and their business activities using services for business development, training, access to finance and promoting social enterprises and Recycling initiatives.

  • Sales Representastive at REDI
  1. Description of the engagement:

Sales Representative is responsible for identifying potential customers, presenting and promoting prototype product, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. It needs to play a crucial role in driving revenue for the company by actively engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering solutions.

  1. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identifying potential customers and businesses that may be interested in the ECO products REDI is offering to;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients;
  • Understanding client needs and requirements;
  • Having a deep understanding of the product being offered;
  • Communicating product features, benefits, and value propositions to potential clients;
  • Conducting product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits and functionality of the product;
  • Negotiating terms and conditions with clients;
  • Closing sales deals and securing contracts;
  • Working towards and achieving sales targets set by the company;
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and market conditions;
  • Gathering information on competitors and market dynamics;
  • Addressing customer inquiries and concerns;
  • Keeping detailed records of sales activities, interactions, and deals;
  • Providing regular sales reports to management;
  • Collaborating with the management, product development, and other teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals;
  • Providing feedback from clients to internal teams for product improvements or modifications;
  • Participation in relevant project activities;
  • To archive/ upgrade its own documentation;
  • To maintain contact with the project manager, the executive director, the entire REDI team and project team;
  • To participate in other project or organizational activities according to the needs of REDI;
  1. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • 3 years proven experience as a Sales Representative or Sales Representative (Experience in selling ECO products will be taken as advantage)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; (working knowledge of Canvas, Corel Draw, Photoshop is a strong advantage)
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Negotiating skills
  • Adaptability;
  • Opportunity for a flexible approach in responding to the needs of the organization;
  • Focus on timely fulfilment of assigned tasks;

The engagement starts from 1st of September 2024 until 31st of December with the possibility of extension.

Working hours: Full time (40 hours per week), possibility for a part time as well (20 hours per week).
